Arda Baykurt was born in Ankara in 1975. He started his music career at the age of 12 with piano and harmony lessons. First gig was in 1990 with Dead Mosh Turkey's one of the first trash metal bands. Dead Mosh was known as the first band covering Slayer songs in Turkey, Until 1993 they performed with the band in Turkey.
After 1993 Arda attended to the College of Economics at the same the he started playing with the local bands of Ankara Rock and Blues style in the times favorite clubs like Manhattan, Grafitti, ABar, Tenedos and so on with Evren Tufekcioglu and Murat Kuscu...
His passion was more into Latin and Jazz drumming they set up the Retrofusion trio back in 1995 with Koray Ergunay and Gokhan Yilmaz and done concerts and workshops with the band.
Followed by many projects of different music genre in bands such as Funkara, Upgrade, Paradox, Meditation,Soul Project ...
After 1997 he was performing and recording with Turkish pop stars such as Hande Yener, Gulsen, Bengu, Yildiz Tilbe, Burcu Gunes and many more... besides performing with his own projects workshops and teaching.
1998 He was invited to Holland and thought drums there. Performed various music festivals, TV Shows.
2002 He Relocated to Istanbul and start running recording studio and kept performing projects,
Set Cuban-Ist latin-jazz band with his friends Emir Ersoy, Cemil Tatlipinar, Jozi Levi and Cuneyt Akgun, performed many gigs with the band .Also performed with Ayhan Sicimoglu Latin Allstars band and Turkish Pop music projects.
Recorded with Cenk Erdogan Trio first album "ile" and performed album concerts.
As an Economist and Statistician background one of the passion Odds Compiling and Sports Betting moved Baykurt and his family to Malta at 2007. He was working as profession in I Gaming Industry besides Music (Details can be found on Linkedin profile). While in Malta Baykurt Joined Maltese Band Scar, performed Malta Eurovision qualifiers, MTV Music Awards and BAY Music awards and besides concerts with the band and performed with Este Mundo Latin band in Earth Garden Music Festival
2012 First album Skin Vibrations featuring Nalan Soykut Baykurt published, launch was at BJ's Music Venue Malta September 2012.
Moved to Cyprus 2013 and decided to continue his profession and Music career from another Island.
He started ABY ENTERTAINMENT music company. Published First single "People Going Crazy" by Ada Baykurt at 2016 from partner company Mireille music NY,
Managing Maltese Indian Fusion band "Cushion" since 2015, Recorded and Produced Maltese "Cushion"'s album "Awakenings" 2019.
Still Running ABY Entertainment music and recording company and performing with his own projects producing music all around and performing with Ayhan Sicimoglu and Latin All Stars.
